The Baths

Stormy Petrel to Virgin Gorda

Located in the British Virgin Islands, Virgin Gorda is a quiet, natural "gem". The main attraction on Virgin Gorda is "The Baths", an expansive collection of granite formations that have created beautiful grottos and pools.

Book-It V.I. is pleased to offer a "first class" excursion to "The Baths". The bonus is the opportunity to view most of the other British Virgin Islands in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere aboard vessels specially designed for day tours.

Stormy Petrel

"Stormy Petrel", a 12 passenger power boat, leaves from American Yacht Harbor on St. Thomas, makes a stop to board passengers from St. John, and then travels the entire length of the Tortola's north shore, past Guana and Great Camanoe Islands, and into Spanishtown, Virgin Gorda. While the crew clears BVI Customs, passengers can visit the town's small complex of quaint shops and restaurants. Then it's back aboard for the short ride to "The Baths".

Great Views Everywhere Spanish Town

Access to "The Baths" is by a short snorkel trip from "Stormy Petrel" to the beach. The knowledgeable crew provides a complete narration during your exploration of this scenic "masterpiece". Upon completion of the tour, it's back in the water for the short snorkel back to the boat.

"Stormy Petrel" then travels to Cooper Island Beach Club for lunch. Your orders are placed onboard, phoned into the club, and ready for enjoyment on your arrival. The food and service is excellent. You can't find better conch fritters anywhere. For dessert, you must try the flaming rum custard!

Cooper Island Beach Club

From Cooper Island the boat proceeds to Great Harbor on Peter Island for another snorkel stop. The snorkeling here is excellent with abundant coral formations, fishes, and other marine life. After this stop, the boat returns to St. John and St. Thomas.

Great Snorkeling

"Stormy Petrel" is now also offering Virgin Gorda trips which include a stop at infamous Jost Van Dyke.  This trip departs on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's and substitutes the standard scheduled snorkel stop on Peter Island with a stop at White Bay, Jost Van Dyke

Cost for the "Stormy Petrel" excursions include open bar while onboard and use of snorkeling equipment.
BVI Customs fees of $30 per person plus lunch are additional.
