Scubadu is 40' Alexis Simonis designed fractional sloop sailing catamaran launched from Cape Town, South Africa in 1995 for her trans-Atlantic crossing the British Virgin Islands. Now calling the US Virgin Islands home, Scubadu is setting the standard of quality for upscale hospitality and sailing experience.

Your host aboard "Scubadu" is Captain Joe Mellen . Joe is a fully-licensed US Coast Guard captain with worldwide sailing experience and is also a PADI-certified scuba diving instructor.

Capt. Joe and First-Mate Laura
The galley and salon areas are large and include a full navigation center, an ample entertainment and inside seating and dining area with complete 360º panoramic views.

Large Cockpit Area The cockpit area is large and comfortable. Enjoy a glass of wine and pick out your favorite music. A full "Bimini" cover provides ample shade from the bright midday sun.
Scubadu's wide 25' beam allows for plenty of deck and trampoline area for sunning. Deck and Trampoline Area for Sunning
This total experience of upscale sailing includes gourmet lunches, appetizers, and dinners carefully prepared to the guests' request.
Jerk Chicken... A Favorite of Our Guests! Captain Joe enjoys his role as king of the barbeque. His jerk chicken is a favorite with guests!
However, your first mate will prepare most of the meals in the fully-equipped galley. First-Mate Laura Prepares Gourmet Meals
Fresh Crab Cakes! The Cockpit Dining Area is Perfect for Meals at Sea!
Appetizers include selections such as fresh crabcakes. Of course, no gourmet lunch or dinner would be complete without a glass or so of fine wine. Scubadu's house wine list is as impressive as its dining choices.

Looking for a totally romantic dining experience with the best water and sunset views available anywhere? Scubadu is now accepting exclusive dinner reservations for up to four guests.
Enjoy a leisurely cocktail cruise to "nowhere" where you can marvel at the spectacular Virgin Island sunsets.
Dinner on the Water! Then sail into a quiet bay for a romantic dinner on the water.
After dinner, the captain and crew of Scubadu will return you to your destination with memories that will last a lifetime!
