Diving and Snorkeling
St.
John and St. Thomas, Virgin Islands
Diving in the Virgin Islands is spectacular! Most of our islands feature a multitude of dive spots for divers of all certification levels. Our natural reefs, clear water, and abundant marine life offers a diver's paradise. Want to see moray eels, stingrays, turtles, barracuda, hard and soft corals, sponges, or unique rock formations? With over 50 great reef dive spots available, you won't get bored.

Interested in wreck diving? Off Salt Island, in the British Virgin Islands, the world's most popular wreck dive, "The RMS Rhone", is easily accessible from our clients' dive facilities on St. Thomas and St. John. The film location for the hit movie, "The Deep", this 310 foot, 2738 gross ton British mail steamer sank during the Great Hurricane of October, 29, 1867. "The RMS Rhone" was one of the first of the metal hulls and, while the attached wooden structure has decayed, the hull remains remarkably intact. Now, an underwater sanctuary for beautiful coral formations and tropical fish, "The RMS Rhone" is one of sport diving's premier dive locations. (Note: The photo above was taken at the Roman Columns on "The Rhone" earlier this year.)
But, there are many other wrecks to explore in our islands.. "The Major General Rogers" is a US Coast Guard buoy tender intentionally sunk off the east end of St. Thomas and features beautiful coral formations and interesting exploring for beginning and intermediate divers.

Our clients' dive facilities have excellent equipment, personnel, and dive boats. Dive packages are available, and specially tailored to your needs. Need certification classes? We can arrange NAUI, PADI, and most other basic and advanced certifications. We can also arrange "Introduction to SCUBA" for those who want to "test the waters" before full certification.
